ARISE For Such a Time as ThisGod’s plan reaches from eternity to eternity. We may seem to have a small place on the eternal timeline. However, God has a purpose and a plan for each of us. We have been strategically placed right where God wants us. When He knit you together in your mother’s womb, He provided every gift you would need to fulfill your purpose.
Each of us has been called to share the Gospel of Christ with others. We may be called as teachers, pastors, hairdressers, or janitors. No piece of God’s puzzle is unimportant. When we walk in God’s sovereign grace and refuse to be compromised in our faith and service, we can fulfill the calling He has placed on our life. What is your purpose and calling? |
BECOMING GOD'S WOMAN
|
Warrior Woman of ChristToo many of us have read about the Whole Armor of God and dismissed it as something that does not apply to us. A Christian woman does battle every day of her life. She fights for her husband and children. She fights for her beliefs. She is a prayer warrior when it comes to praying for those who are sick and hurting.
God created us to serve Him and to have a relationship with Him. When we accept Salvation, we step into our rightful roles as Warrior Women of Christ. Satan is determined to thwart us at every turn. We are bombarded constantly. Thankfully, God has provided Spiritual Armor to protect us and aid us in this battle. PUT IT ON! |
Let Go and FlowWe are born into sin. Separated from God. Yet, something deep in our souls, hungers and thirsts after a relationship with our creator. God anoints us with overflowing blessings, fills us with the fire of the Holy Spirit and energizes us with His living water. His only condition is that you share.
It is the Holy Spirit who calls to us to rest. Come to the Savior. Drink from the bottomless well of God’s Mercy and Grace. Nothing brings such joy. Nothing tastes so good. Can’t you hear Him calling? Let Go and let the Living Waters Flow! |
HOW TO BLOOM RIGHT WHERE YOU ARE PLANTED
We hear this frequently: Bloom Where You Are Planted. It sounds good. However, no one ever tells us what blooming means or how we are to do it.
God is the Master Gardener and He has a created a plan for you, your placement, and your importance in His Garden. Before God wrapped a body around your soul in your mother's womb, He had a plan for your life. He gifted you with certain talents that would fulfill His plan. We must learn to recognize those gifts and commit to using them in His service, blooming right where we are planted, as we wait on God's timing and revelation of His plan for our lives. |
HE RESTORES MY SOULMental fatigue results from overworking our brain. It can actually hamper productivity and leave us exhausted and stressed.
Emotional fatigue is a common symptom. It is often caused or worsened by stress and is associated with depression, grief, irritability, and lack of motivation. Spiritual exhaustion does not occur in sin, but in service. When you forget to return to the well to be replenished. One of the most important aspects of being His sheep is that He will not allow you to become lost-- in pain, in heartache, in depression, loneliness, or condemnation. In self-pride or self-loathing, in sin or darkness. Whatever it is, He is there to save you. He is there to restore your soul. |
IT'S OK TO GRIEVE YOUR WAY The loss of a loved one changes our lives in unimaginable ways. Some people seem to have no trouble bouncing back immediately, while some people seem to take years. We cannot allow others to tell us how to grieve. It is important not to push it down inside you or to let it control your whole life, but to find the way that works best for you. There is life after loss.
Grief is different for everyone. Some people process their grief quickly, while some people take months or years. Some people put on a brave face and participate in life, while some are completely overwhelmed and undone by the sadness and depression which controls their lives. Some people never cry outward tears. Some people have sobbed until their eyes are dry and the tears seem to have completely shriveled the life out of them. We all process grief differently. Some alone time is critical to the process. But not isolation. Hugs are helpful. Unfortunately, it is not unusual for well meaning friends and loved ones to interfere in the grieving process. Remember, It is Okay to Grieve Your Way! |
GIRD YOUR LOINS, GIRLIE!Exactly what does it mean to “Gird Your Loins?” Is this admonition just for the men of the Bible? God did not create us to flutter our lashes behind lacy fans. He created us to stand and fight.
There are physical and spiritual aspects of girding ones' loins. To prepare for battle, one must tuck in cumbersome skirts to avoid tripping or falling in battle. Women have been doing this for centuries. Brave women in our country’s history were quick to take up their husband’s weapon and fight in their place when they fell in battle. God knows all the battles we will face in our service to Him. He provides our protective armor to aid us in every situation. It is there for the believer. One must simply seek. Spiritual victory comes only to those who are prepared for battle. |
